This Ain't Xanga.

So.. I've been meaning to create a Blogspot for quite a while now because I've seen just how darling everyone else's is and it has just taken me procrastinating studying for finals to finally figure out how to make this thing. Thank you finals. :) This is, however, a work in progress so I apologize if my blog is ugly for a while. Just go with the flow.

I must say that life is good. There are exactly four days left of this semester and I am ecstatic. Not one ounce of my body will miss organic chemistry with its strange cyclohexanes or poultry science genetics, well, with its chickens. I am ready to be in Shannon, Mississippi on Cherry Street for three months where I can sit on the rocking chair on the front porch, work on my quilt, play in the garden, and sleep with my window cracked where the attic fan blows a breeze in. Ahhhh.. 4 days. FOUR DAYS. I will, however, miss my lovely boyfriend who will be sailing down the Tibbee River to take daily water samples and my dear friends (especially those lucky graduates).

I will end this post with a few quotes from this weekend:

"You know.. I'm missing a toe." - Comer's customer sitting at table #9. I hadn't even said hey yet.

"As it turns out, these folks were the biggest crooks since the Nigerians!!" - BancorpSouth customer regarding fraud on their debit card

The crickets are out tonight. <3

Much love,
Megan
